Anchorage June 1st, 2008

I arrived safe and sound last night at 21.00 after a 23 hours travel event. Besides the long travel and boaring plane-rides, everything went well. All lugage came through, the car was reserved and ready (Chevrolet Trailblazer 4wd) and the room is clean and has a good shower. I did not sleeep to long over the night because of the 10 hour time difference but I guess I will make that up somehow today. At 7 this morning I drove downtown and had a good breakfast in a cafe at 5th Avenue. Today I will spent time figuring things out where to buy what for the big trip in the "wide open" from coming Thursday. Leslie and Kyle will arrive here on Tuesday so they will have a day to accomadate the definately colder temperatures of the North.
